Keeping Bikini Lines Clean
A glossary of terms to help you find the best hair removal method for this sensitive area

May have been the scene in the film of wax Forty Year-Old Virgin fun for the kids, but this kind of torture is common place for women, especially the swimsuit models. There are some new methods, and many older, so here cut a guide through the jargon of depilation.
Tweezing: Tweezing works great on eyebrows and stray hairs, but not a practical solution for most of the bikini area. Although not as durable, forceps, fine hair over time.
Shaved: In a word: no. Shaving the bikini with a knife carries a high risk for ingrown hairs and subsequent infections. Keep razors in the legs. Special electric razors for women in the general area of the bikini-use zone, but also a potential for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis: Is it worth the money and time to the upper lip and chin hair. While other hair follicles can be generated in the same area, electrolysis is permanent and therefore not recommended for anything, but in general the configuration of the eyebrows. It is too expensive and impractical for the bikini area. Make sure you go to a professional with references.
Depilatories: These are liquid or cream, hair and work best on light-colored hairs on the legs, arms and upper lip, but not suitable for the bikini area. These dissolve the hairs under the skin a smooth appearance, but are not permanent.
Laser treatment: Laser treatment can be expensive, but a permanent hair removal and can be used to treat large areas, while the electrolysis of a hair follicle to another. Make sure you go to a professional with references.
